About Swiss Red Cross


The Swiss Red Cross, or SRC, was founded on July 17, 1866 and is one of the oldest national societies of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Within the framework of the International Cooperation Program, SRC is represented in 29 countries, including Belarus.

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement scheme

Since 1994, the Swiss Red Cross has provided expert and financial support to the country and cooperated with the Belarus Red Cross Society, the executor of projects. Scope of activity: active aging, medical and social assistance, healthy lifestyle and prevention of non-communicable diseases, humanitarian assistance, social and medical assistance to immigrants from Ukraine.
